OK, here are the rules of the website. They aren't difficult, just neccesary so everythign can be fair and everyone cn have fun.
#1. No God-Modding Do not play anyone elses character unless they give you permission. Do not make your character the 'best' or the 'strongest' or the 'prettiest' or the 'nicest'. You can be all of these things, but not to the point where you are unbeatable. In other words, no '-est'. No invincibility. Remember, somewhere out there there is ALWAYS someone who is better than you, someone who can beat you.
#2. Follow all Guidelines For instance; the people of the Eastern Mountains are Asian-esque. Do not make a character who is of the Eastern Mountains and call her Helen or him Bob. Use an Asian-style name. I will post name ideas up for each territory, as well as links to where you can find more ideas and name generators. This also means that if you make a person of a race who is at war with another race, you are at war with that race. You can't just waltz through that territory and make friends with them, they will kill you on sight. If you make a silent friar or monk character, a priestess who has taken a vow of silence, etc. do not speak. Have your character communicate in other ways.
#3. Do not kill anyone's character If you wish to kill anyone, ask first, and if they say no, it is no. Find someone else to kill, or make a character of your own whom you can than kill off. The ONLY exception is when playing with dice. At that point you may initiate combat, battle it out with the dice, and if you lose you either die or are very near death and will need to be healed.
#4. Unlimited Characters As long as you can handle them, make as many characters as you want.
#5. Be Active Any character not played on a roleplay for two weeks will be deleted, no exceptions. Two weeks is the absolute minimum of how often you must play. If you are going on vacation or whatever, fine. Just remember to tell me. I will not delete your character from the site, you will just be unable to play on the roleplay you were on and than absent from. You will be counted as dead on that roleplay.
#6. Whatever I say is a Rule That means if I tell you something ANYWHERE on this site, treat it as though it is written here in the rules. Don't ignore, and don't argue about it. I don't make rules to make people angry or annoyed, and I am pretty flexible.
#7. Rules Subject to Change at Any Time If I want to change a rule or add new ones, I can at anytime without notice, so please check this page often.
#8. Think 'PG-13' That means try to keep the content on this site appropriate for children and young teens/pre-teens. No explicit sexual things, keep the swearing to a minimum, and try to use creative 'fake' curses that might be used in Fantasy worlds. If you want to have a 'more mature' roleplay, make sure you rate the roleplay as whatever it should be, such as MA, MA 18+, etc. And make sure to give a reason why it has that rating. Sexual themes, gore, violence, etc.
#9. Anything and Everything on this Site belongs to me and only me I retain the rights to everything on this site. Every character, every land, every race, every religion. EVERYTHING. I may or may not work on a book based on these lands and peoples. This rule is only here so that if I do decide to write a book, I cannot be sued by anyone trying to say I stole their idea/character. It is not because I intend to, but just so that I can protect myself should I decide to. That means I own all characters on this site as well, whether I created them or not. I give free permission for them to be used elsewhere, for pictures to be drawn of them, etc. But, should I write a book, and you feel a character in it resembles something of 'yours' from this site in anyway, please remember this rule and remember that by playing here you agree to these terms. Again, this is only to protect myself from unscrupulous people looking to sue others to make some money, not because I am planning on stealing anyones ideas or even planning to write a book.
