1. Follow What the Dice/Coin Flip Says Use the Dice when you play. They make gameplay fair. If things turn out in a way you didn't want, I am sorry, but better luck next time. If you die, it is only on that particular Roleplay, not a big deal. Do not cheat, if the Dice says one thing, and you do another, that is cheating and is unfair. Do it often enough, and the other people on the site won't want to play with you anymore. If you prefer a more story-based Roleplay, you may do so as long as those you are playing with agree. At that point, discount the Dice except in the case of battles. You should still use the Dice to battle if you want to keep things fair. But, if you really aren't into the dice, be my guest. Don't use them. Just make sure everyone is following the same protocol. (Don't know about the Dice? Check out the topic 'Virtual Dice' under 'The Roleplays')
2. Each Roleplay is Stand-Alone What happens in one Roleplay, stays in that Roleplay. It does not matter in any other Roleplay. So, this means the same character can be an evil Fiend in one roleplay, and the valiant Hero of another. You can be friends in one Roleplay, and arch enemies in another. It also means you can play different ages as well. Have your character as 7 years old attending a Messinian School in one RP? So what, go ahead and make him/her a 25 year old adventurer in another. Just make sure the characters stick to the attributes you lay down for them. If something happens during the individual roleplay(s) to change anything, remember it only counts for that Roleplay.
3. If You Are Going to Link Roleplays, Make Sure this is Stated in the Explanation If you want to create a huge epic story line and want to continue from a previous Roleplay into a new one, or want to explore an alternate story line that didn't happen in your current Roleplay, you may do so. But, make sure it is clearly stated in the explanation of your Roleplay that it is a continum and any characters from the original Roleplay must stay the same in this one as in that one.
4. Follow the Roleplay Template This Template will tell you what information you need to have to begin a new Roleplay, and it will tell you how to organize it. You will this under the topic 'Roleplay Template', which is located under 'The Roleplays'.
5. Mark the Spot When You Use a Dice/Coin If you use a dice or a coin for anything, mark it in this way: <Dice-2d,6s=8> What this means is you rolled 2 dice (2d) and they were 6 sided (6s). The outcome of rolling the two dice was 8. If you use a coin, you put down <Coin-Heads> or <Coin-Tails>. Please make sure to bracket your flips and rolls with the arrows when you are playing the game.
